Vintage Engagement ring?

Query by biteme13: Classic Engagement ring?
My grandmother who's wellbeing/mentatlity has been deteriorating about the past few decades wrote me into her will finding her jewelry. There are 5 rings whole. two are not in query (they want appraised), and the other are her genuine wedding ceremony set. There are three bands (I believe or two its been like four many years given that I've witnessed the rings). Well I'm intended to be obtaining them quickly (I'm finding them just before everyone in the family members gets greedy and just will take them). The 1 band I belive is silver and I'm just marketing it (the wedding ceremony band) Its large and just not my flavor and to re-dimension it will be high-priced due to the detail of the band. The other possible 2 (I think) rings are diamond rings. The bands I belive are silver but they were her diamond engagement rings. How arrive I can not locate nearly anything on silver diamond rings????

It's possible I'm just not looking appropriate, but Every little thing comes up CZ silver rings. The rings are diamond (I was NOT permitted to perform with them). Had been there instances when you could purchase an true engagement ring with diamonds that had a silver setting/band. They probably could be white gold but due to the way they aged I feel they're silver. Anybody have any information on Vintage rings? Did they have silver settings with real diamonds in them (i am not massive into jewelry. ) I will be making use of these bands for my very own engagement someday, and I was just curious.
um to the 1st poster. I did not consult for your judgment. I am basically offering the items I can't wear. Personally not to sound nasty but the rest of the "family" did nothing at all for my gram all these a long time and are NOT obtaining the jewelry. There are two antique yellow gold items I WILL NOT Use. I detest yellow gold, and there is no importance to me to have these two peices, and the band is just not my style at all. I hate significant chunky bands ect. Due to the design and style all about the band sizing it would operate me really a bit. I do not know considerably about jewelry, and have no idea how platinum, great silver, or white gold ages. I was asking "Does anybody know if they created diamond engagement rings in silver or could I be mistaken with what kind of metal it is." The rings are aged from I'd say the 40's possibly so IDK. Do not snip at me stating I shouldn't offer them. I will be making use of the cash from the wedding band to restore and quite possibly dimensions my favored ring. The band broke many years ago.
