Wedding rings - do you care if the rings you marry with are the ones you have forever?

Question by A bit Ravenous: Wedding rings - do you care if the rings you marry with are the ones you have permanently?
I went to a wedding this weekend, and the couple made the decision to conserve income by obtaining easy sterling silver wedding ceremony bands for now, and acquiring "better" rings in the long term (a year or two from now). Essentially an upgrade. Am I just silly and sentimental in considering I would want to get married with the rings I would have on for the rest of my lifestyle (barring any incidents like shedding or damaging it of course). I know it really is just a symbol, but I guess I wouldn't experience like the new ring was as critical considering that it's not the one particular we set on each and every other folks fingers throughout our vows.

Anyone completed this? Do you experience the same about the new rings? Or does it even matter to you? Would you do this, or wait around and preserve up for the rings you wished?

I know a number of folks that have carried out this, but I guess I am sentimental also. I like having the same ring for usually. I've been married 14 years and nonetheless have the very same ring.
